About every other week or so, I determine that I am so sick of my hair, I am chopping it off. I get to the point where I just can’t take it anymore! But then, all it takes is one look at the horrible short hair cuts I’ve had in the past (why did I think short hair ever looked good on my very round face?!), and the feeling passes. While trying to grow my hair out, and save it from nasty heat damage, I have a few go-to hairstyles that always seem to curb my impulses to chop it off. All of these are super easy, and only take a matter of minutes to do!
No-Heat Beach Waves
While most of these are attractive, if you are bothered by short hair on a round face, these should send you screaming because almost all pull the hair away from the face.
I have a round face and wouldn’t consider wearing my hair anything but short – with a bit of feathering on the sides that goes toward my face and not back into the hair.
With the “tuck and cover”, if you do it while your hair is even barely damp, you will get super baby doll curls. If your hair goes down to your bum, when you take out your hair, the curls will make it shoulder-legnth.
